We thought we went to Goa but we ended up in Heaven. Summertime Villa is exceptional. It is a luxurious, peaceful and serene slice of Paradise in Goa. Hard to believe its 10 minutes to Calangute Beach. Although, I can’t verify this as the Villa was so fabulous we left once for a dinner. Every detail at the villa has been meticulously thought through. The outdoor seating and pool areas are just divine. The smaller seating pool is fabulous for Sundowners and enjoying the Goan weather relaxing with friends. Do take time to sit by the Koi pond. You will be shocked to realize you have been transfixed for several hours in peace and tranquility.

This would be the first time we headed to Summertime and not GOA! The property just wants you to stay and enjoy the space. Excellent rooms, upkeep and hygiene.

We chanced upon this property via the recommendation of a friend who insisted we stay at Summertime. And I’m glad we agreed. I was travelling with my family - including my parents and grandparents who are 90, and they made sure everything was in point catering to needs of all age groups. From ramps for a wheelchair, to friendly and helpful staff, they made this stay a paradise for my grandparents who were thrilled to be out after the wrath of the lockdown.

A secret hidden treasure, close to all the fun and beaches, yet private and tucked away (literally) on this hill of Calangute! Tastefully decorated and lovingly maintained by the hosts and their team, Summertime was exactly what we needed to recharge from pandemic city dwelling exhaustion. We spent a month - working, studying, vacationing and celebrating Diwali here and could easily have spent more! Go ahead and book it, you will not regret it!

My husband and I stayed at Summertime Villa with 4 friends, for 5 nights. We had the best time, and almost never left the villa. The staff is incredible and flexible, and the food is really great, especially the Indian and Goan dishes. Especially a warm thought goes to Chef Dinesh, who prepared the best Butter Chicken, we’ve ever tried :)

A secret oasis in a very touristy destination

Spent 3 nights here. I work in the travel industry and have the opportunity to stay in some of the finest hotels across the world. I generally like the format of a full service property. So when my friend booked Summertime for his birthday, I was a bit sceptical. But I have to say, with no ounce of bias, this was one of the best few days I have had in a long time.

Having experienced many different forms of palaces, hotels, homestays and private villas in India I can honestly put Summertime up there with the best. Summertime’s location is superb. Hidden away from the busy beaches and streets of Goa, yet close enough to hire a scooter, car or driver to go and explore what Goa has offer. Set amongst coconut trees, lush vegetation and bushland Summertime’s laid-back atmosphere makes it a must-stay in Goa. This private villa is ideal for friends, family and small groups of maximum 8 people. The team of staff looking after you is very discrete, polite and helpful. There is a very tasty menu if you decide to eat in. The pool and leisure areas are spacious and airy, the rooms are BIG including the bathrooms with simple but luxurious interior flair. The whole villa is extremely well designed by the owners, Hans & Sucheta. Caroline and I felt very special staying at this beautiful place and we will be back with family and friends. We left with a happy soul and smiling hearts. We loved it !

Villas in Goa bring together a bundle of expectations. While privacy, personalized itinerary, and an idyllic holiday are some of the more rosy expectations, lack of 24x7 quality service and longer turn around times to ad-hoc requests can often prove to be the damper.

An absolutely incredible villa with two swimming pools and also a separate fish pool. The rooms are super luxurious with huge attached bathrooms with a tub. A beautiful dining area in a veranda overlooking the pool with a large collection of books in a lovely high ceilinged living room. The hospitality of the owners Hans and Sucheta was great and the food was excellent. Complete privacy is assured and Calangute and Baga are quite close for shopping and dining. Overall a brilliant place to have a holiday.
