Our setup

Summertimegoa.com is a static website. Static sites are much more secure than dynamic sites due to less exposure to the Internet. There is no database and no possibility of making a malicious request. A user can only request files that contain HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, etc.

A static site using a CDN like summertimegoa.com is practically immune to attack because if one web server on the network goes down from an attack, many other servers are available to send out the website’s pages.

To make this site work properly, we sometimes place small data files called cookies on your device. Most big websites do this too.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. It enables the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language, font size and other display preferences) over a period of time, so you don’t have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the site or browse from one page to another.

How do we use cookies?

The specific types of first and third party cookies served through our Websites and the purposes they perform are described in further detail below:

Required Cookies

These cookies enable the website to perform core functions necessary for providing the information requested by the user.

  • cookieconsent.status

Functional Cookies

These cookies enable improved website performance and an enhanced experience, as well as core functions. These cookies collect information that is used either in aggregate form to help us understand how our websites are being used or how effective our marketing campaigns are, or to help us customize our websites and application for you in order to enhance your experience. Google gathers information allowing us to understand interactions with our websites and ultimately refine that experience to better serve you.

  • Google Tag manager
  • Google Analytics

Advertising Cookies

We do not use these! These cookies enable the website to promote content tailored to you.

How to control cookies

You can control and/or delete cookies as you wish – for details, see aboutcookies.org. You can delete all cookies that are already on your computer and you can set most browsers to prevent them from being placed. If you do this, however, you may have to manually adjust some preferences every time you visit a site and some services and functionalities may not work.

You can easily accept or reject the cookies on this site by clicking on the word “Cookies” in the footer of a web page and make yourchoice in the Consent Preferences Center.
